Midweek Opening At Copper Mountain

Rocky Mountain snowpackCopper Mountain's opening day has once again been rescheduled, but this time it's good news for eager skiers and snowboarders. Instead of waiting for November 13, the resort will fire up the American Eagle chair for a midweek opening on Nov. 11, with skiing on Rhapsody and Main Vein. Easy Rider beginner learning area and Eagle Jib Park are expected to open by Saturday, Nov. 14. 

The fun starts at 9 a.m. and the first 400 guests in line will be treated to free donuts and hot chocolate, as well as free skiing and riding on Wednesday, Nov. 11 to all active or retired military and their dependents in honor of Veterans Day. The offer includes all Active Duty, Reserve, National Guard or retired military and their dependents (spouses and/or children). All military and dependents will be required to show a valid ID at the ticket window at time of purchase.

Copper Sports located in the Copper One building, Center Village will open 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. for rental and season pass needs beginning Wednesday and will resume the hours of 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. Sunday – Thursday, 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. Friday – Saturday for the remainder of the winter season. Center Village lift ticket windows will also be open for lift ticket sales.

Additional retail outlets including Copper Rocker, Kelly’s Closet and the new Copper Collection will be opening Wednesday. Guests will enjoy Endo’s Adrenaline Café, Starbucks, Solitude Station, Camp Hale, Jack’s Grill and Gustino’s Lakeside Pizzeria for food and beverage options on Opening Day.
