Extra space for less in this Copper Mountain condo

This super-clean and homey condo in Summit House lodge is located next to Copper Mountain’s lively Center Village and will be the perfect affordable home base for your ski vacation! It is a one-bedroom unit, but it sleeps 7 people pretty comfortably because it’s a generous 780 square feet. That’s about 200 more square feet than most other one-bedrooms at Copper.

The roomy master bedroom has two queen beds in addition a one-person foldout couch. Two more people can sleep on the sofa bed in the living room by the gas fireplace.

Quiet Center Village location

Summit House is just steps away from the lifts in the village center, but it’s set back a bit, so it’s away from the noise and bustle of the main village. You can see the American Eagle lift and the ski runs from the small walk-out balcony or when you sit at the dining room table.

Our kitchen is nicely stocked with pots, pans, toaster, blender, and bakeware as well as dishware, glassware and utensils for 8. Groups have told us that they’ve had a very affordable and memorable trip because they were able to sleep 7 and share cooking duties in the convenient kitchen throughout their stay.

The recently updated bathroom is beautiful with a double vanity and tub with shower. We’re generous with our paper and soap supplies, so you shouldn’t have to make a run to the store to stock up for several days, if at all.

Summit House lodge isn’t far from stops for Copper Village Shuttle. Look for the signs and wait a few minutes with your skis, and you’ll hop on the heated shuttle for free rides to lifts all over Copper Mountain.

Look for nearby stops for another free shuttle service called Summit Stage. This shuttle takes you off Copper Mountain to the Summit County mountain towns of Frisco, Dillon, Silverthorne, Keystone, and Breckenridge. You can hop off the Summit Stage and ski at Breckenridge, and Keystone. Or you can shop in small or large super-stores in Frisco, Dillon, or Silverthorne. You could spend hours or a few minutes finding anything you want in hundreds of quaint shops in Frisco. When you’re ready to get back to Copper, just look for Summit Stage signs and hop on. Totally free. Once you take the free Summit Stage shuttle to Summit County mountain towns, you just might wonder why anyone would bother to drive.
