Colorado-based companies have long been innovative leaders in the outdoor recreation industry, and this year, four businesses will have a chance to showcase their products at ISPO, one of the world's biggest trade shows focusing on action, outdoor, performance and traditional sports.
Supported by the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade, the companies will represent Colorado's healthy outdoor lifestyle and year-round recreational opportunities, from skiing to skateboarding. The companies also embody Colorado's innovative business culture that's constantly breeding innovative technologies and high-performance products.
Showcasing their products at the Colorado Pavilion will allow the companies to connect with foreign buyers and representatives and increase their presence in the European market.
“Colorado is a natural fit for ISPO, as the state has long been viewed as an international hub for outdoor recreation,” said Ken Lund, OEDIT's executive director. “Colorado's concentration of outdoor industry companies is estimated to make up about 12 percent of the total industry in the United States. The outdoor recreation sector accounts for over 107,000 jobs and $10 billion of annual economic output in Colorado.”
The following companies will be represented in the Colorado Pavilion at ISPO Munich 2014:
