Copper Mountain: It Doesn’t Get Any Better!

Copper Mountain snowstormLast week's weather lived up to the forecast, delivering near-record amounts of snow to Copper Mountain and the rest of the Colorado high country. Copper reported 31 inches for a storm total and 36 inches the past week, bringing season to-date snowfall to 202 inches.

Other storm totals around the state include 36 inches at Monarch Mountain and Silverton, 24 inches at Ski Cooper and 18 inches at Winter Park. Click here for the full Colorado Ski Country USA report. If you have a larger group, consider Copper Junction 401, a roomy two bedroom ski-in, ski-out with fantastic views of the slopes and Burning Stones Plaza. This condo sleeps six people separately and up to 10 total.

Westlake Lodge is also ready for a group of powder-loving skiers or riders in what promises to be one of the best ski weeks of the season. This Center Village condo sleeps five separately and 10 people total (available Feb. 9-13).

Up to seven people can stay at Summit House 206, one of the largest one-bedroom condos at Copper. This unit features a huge master bedroom with two queen beds and a one-person fold-out couch, along with a queen sofa bed in the living room (available Feb. 9-11).

Cozy and comfy Summit House 303 is available Feb. 9-12. You can kick back in the super-comfy living room or enjoy the sauna that's just down the hall from this spacious one-bedroom.

At the west end of Copper Mountain Resort, close to the Union Creek base area, you can enjoy the luxurious furnishings in The Cache 2101 townhome. This two-bedroom unit sleeps four and is located right next to the outdoor hot tub and is just a short stroll from the lifts at Union Creek, available Feb. 10-13.

You can also plan a midweek powder escape at Passage Point 306, a clean one-bedroom condo that sleeps four people, with a king bed in the bedroom and a queen sofa sleeper in the living room. Stroll to the lifts via the covered bridge in just a couple of minutes, and enjoy some of the nicest hot tubs at Copper. Available Feb. 9-12.
