Copper Mountain Lodging: Do I Need to be on the Mountain?

Copper Colorado Condos The Cache 2 bedroom

One of the advantages to planning your Copper Mountain ski vacation with Copper Colorado Condos is having access to a great variety of locations around Copper Mountain resort, all of them located on the mountain, including the popular ski-in, ski-out units at Copper Junction in the Center Village.

Once you've experienced the convenience of slopeside lodging at Copper, you'll be hooked on staying on the mountain. You won't have to use your car (unless you want to) once you've checked in, which means you won't get stuck in traffic on I-70, getting frustrated while there's fresh powder on the mountain. And if you're enjoying a few apres-ski cocktails, no need to drive on slippery roads when you can just stroll back to your comfortable condo.

But staying on the mountain doesn't mean you can't explore the rest of Summit County. The Summit Stage stop is just a few steps from most of our Copper Mountain condos, offering free service to Frisco, the factory outlet stores at Silverthorne and all the way to Keystone and Arapahoe Basin.

At Copper Junction, you can stash your ski and snowboard gear in a ground-floor locker just a few steps away from the base of the American Eagle Chairlift, and there's also a ski shop in the building if you need to rent gear or want a quick tuneup on your own equipment.

Our Copper Junction units include large two-bedroom condos that sleep up to 10 people with views of the slopes and the Burning Stones Plaza, as well as cozy studio with loft condos perfect for a romantic weekend getaway, and all of the units are right on the mountain with ski-in, ski-out access to the lifts.

If you're skiing at Copper Mountain with your family, have a look at at some of our condos in the West Village, including a deluxe two-bedroom unit in The Cache neighborhood,  just a two minute walk from the Union Creek base area, headquarters for Copper's renowned ski school. Our Cirque condos are also perfect for those of you who love the West Village, and easy access to the beginner slopes. You'll walk just 2 minutes to the new Union Creek high-speed quad chairlift.

From our Passage Point units, you can stroll past the ice skaters on Westlake Pond on your way to the slopes, and after skiing, you'll enjoy a soak in one of the hot tubs or the play pool with mountain views.

If you want a location that's a little more quiet, but still just a short walk from the lifts, we have roomy one-bedroom condos at Summit House. Here, you can relax on the deck in the afternoon sun and watch the snowcats prep the slopes for the coming ski day, or enjoy a cup of tea while alpenglow paints the Tenmile Range.

Our guests love the heated underground garage at the Cirque, Passage Point, Westlake Lodge and Tucker Mountain Lodge, and all of our condos come with free wifi, parking, and fully equipped kitchens.

And if you're planning on skiing more than one resort when you visit Summit County, we have a great family-style townhome in Frisco that sleeps up to 12 people. The Peak One unit is just a couple of blocks from Frisco's Main Street, aptly called Main Street to the Rockies, and close to the free Summit Stage transit system which serves all four Summit County resorts: Copper Mountain, Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin.

Copper Colorado Condos can help you find a ski condo that's on the mountain, and we’ll also make sure you find the best deals on rentals and lift tickets.  You can check availability and book online now right here on our website, or feel free to contact us now if you need assistance with your condo choice.
