Summer fun at Copper Mountain

The summer season is getting longer at Copper Mountain, as the resort opens its summer non-snow attractions and activities on June14th. Summer season passes are available for $74. The summer pass is good for unlimited access to mini golf, diggler mountain rides, scenic chairlift rides, bumper boats and paddle boats, mountain bike equipment haul, climbing wall, quad bungee jump, and Summit County’s only go-kart track.

Village at Copper activities will be open daily from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Sunday – Thursday and 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

Fridays at Copper are back this summer! If you end up spending $40 or more in village restaurants or shops, you get free tickets to one of each of Copper’s village activities.

In addition to the Village at Copper activites, Copper Mountain has a plethora of other activities for your summer enjoyment:

  • Woodward at Copper will also be re-opening for the summer after a renovation added 4,000 square feet of multi-level platforms with the latest progression and teaching tools. All Snowflex surfaces were replaced with a new and improved Skatelite surface. This new surface extends access to foam pit jumping progression to include BMX, mountain bike and skateboards. 

    Woodward at Copper offers camp programs certain to stoke every age, including snowboard, ski, skateboard, BMX, slopestyle mountain bike, and digital media camp. Check out www.WoodwardatCopper.com for full details on how make this summer break unforgettable. The Woodward at Copper Barn will reopen to the public on June 15. 

    Guests can enjoy the Woodward at Copper Barn all summer long with a full line-up of weekend sessions starting at just $9 for a 2-hour skate/bike session. Sessions will be offered at 2pm, 4pm and 6pm on Saturdays and 2pm and 4pm on Sundays. Make the most of the new renovations with a Barn Season Pass, on sale now in limited quantities for only $249. The season pass grants access to the Barn all summer and winter long, through the end of the 2013/14 winter season. 

    Public Woodward session start June 22, including access to the Green Acres Jib-Park, Woodward’s newest addition with lift access from the Pitchfork chairlift. Guests can shred from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for just $25 a day every Saturday and select Sundays until mid-August, or as long as the snow lasts. Sessions can be pre-purchased now; tickets are available at the Woodward Cage located in Copper’s Center Village or online here.

  • Copper's summer season also includes events geared toward runners, cyclists, music fanatics and overall fun seekers. The Colorado Running Festival kicks off Copper’s summer events on June 28 for a 3-day running and multi-sport family festival. For more information, check out www.CopperColorado.com/events.
     
  •  Wanderlust Colorado coincides with Independence Day and Copper's 4th of July celebration. Bring the whole family as musical artist MOBY headlines this progressive festival putting a spin on the traditional summer celebration.
