Hiking is great, and cycling at 9,0000 feet elevation is a definitely a good workout, but sometimes there's nothing like a little road trip to fees the summer vibe. From a base camp at one of our Copper Condos, you can explore a slice of the Colorado high country on backcountry roads, far away from speeding highway traffic. So pack your camera, binoculars and a picnic and join us for two of our favorite off-highway backcountry tours. Read More >

We recently stayed at Copper Junction 401 and we were very pleased with the amenties and location. I do not think the convenience for a skier can get any better than this unless you slept at the top of the mountain with your skis on. The rental shop was on the first floor as well as the ski lockers and a very nice pizza place I might add. Just a elevator ride to the 1st floor, turn left and go through two doors and you are at the lockers and about 10 short steps away from the American Eagle lift. When you come back, there are ski racks conveniently located by the entrance. We enjoyed looking out the window at the base area, shops, pipe and skiers coming in. Lift tickets can be picked up right across from the condo (looking out the direction of the windows) as well as jumping tickets for the kids and adults for the bungee cord trampolines located by the condo. Would love to stay here again and would recommend a stay in this condo. This was our first trip to Copper and think we may have found a favorite!
