The Ski Biz is Booming in Colorado, as Skier Visits Set New Record
Great snow from start to finish helped Colorado ski areas tally a record-breaking season, with skier visits surging past the 12.5 million mark for the first time ever. The state outperformed the rest of the country, solidifying its position as the market leader, with 22 percent all skier visits nationally.

Report highlights stellar ski season in the Rockies
Skier visits in the Rocky Mountain region surged upward 6.4 percent from last winter, but resorts in the Far West took a big hit as drought gripped the region for much of the ski season, according to the National Ski Areas Association.

One Last Fling at Copper Mountain – Resort Announces Terrain for Bonus Weekend
During the upcoming extended weekend Copper Mountain will open American Flyer, Sierra, Celebrity Ridge, and Timberline lifts each day from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Skier services including food and beverage rental and retail options will be limited to Center Village. All parking throughout Copper Mountain Resort will be complimentary throughout the weekend.
