There may still be a little snow lingering on the high peaks of Summit County, but most of it should melt away next week when Frisco's Main Street heats up with the 20th annual BBQ Challenge.

Summer fun at Copper Mountain
The summer season is getting longer at Copper Mountain, as the resort opens its summer non-snow attractions and activities on June14th. Summer season passes are available for $74. Village at Copper activities will be open daily from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Sunday – Thursday and 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

Summertime is peak-bagging season in Colorado, and Copper Mountain Resort is the perfect spot to explore some of of the high country's most inspiring crags, including Copper's very own 13,205-foot Jacque Peak, located just to the south of the ski area, about 1.6 miles south of Union Peak.
