Copper Mountain hosts Special Olympics
For the 28th year, Copper Mountain hosts the Special Olympics, Sunday, Feb. 28. Athletes from age 2 to adults will compete in skiing and snowboarding, cross country skiing and snowshoeing at Copper.

Pump up adventure at Copper’s or Frisco’s tubing hills
Tubing down Copper Mountain's or Frisco’s carved lanes is not your old-fashioned sledding experience. First of all, snow tubes fly down long, smooth, groomed runs — there’s no pushing and struggling to get going again after hitting a rough patch of snow or a flat pitch. Second of all, you’re not going to accidentally crash into a pine tree.

Colorado Resorts Upgrade For The Coming Ski Season
Following the record-setting 2013-2014 season, Colorado ski resorts have invested in hotels, on-mountain dining and learning centers for young skiers and snowboarders, as well as new chairlifts, groomers, and snowmaking systems, all aimed at enhancing the the ski and snowboard experience.

Get Ready – The 2014 Ski Season Starts Halloween-style!
The 2014 Colorado ski season will start with all-American Halloween festivities, with opening day at Copper Mountain set for Friday, October 31 featuring ghosts, goblins and zombies. The best costumes will win a prize, and there's even a trick-for-treats event at the Woodward Bowl.
