We LOVE the Westerlies! More Snow Coming to Copper Mountain

After a week of mild weather, winter returns for the weekend as the westerlies break through to deliver plenty of Pacific Ocean moisture to Copper Mountain and the rest of Colorado. A series of storms starting Thurdsay (Feb. 27) afternoon could dump as much as a foot of snow across the area, with the best snow at higher elevations under relatively warm west winds. A winter weather advisory issued by the National Weather Service is forecasting 4 to 8 inches of snow by Friday morning, with the biggest totals on higher west-facing slopes.
