For the 28th year, Copper Mountain hosts the Special Olympics, Sunday, Feb. 28. Athletes from age 2 to adults will compete in skiing and snowboarding, cross country skiing and snowshoeing at Copper.

Can’t Get Enough Skiing? A-Basin Extends The Season
Colorado skiers and snowboarders can look forward to at least one extra weekend of snow-sliding fun. Arapahoe Basin announced this week it will open for a bonus weeked, June 12-14, thanks to plentiful spring snow.
